A mini studio apartment in a block from the 1970s with an exceptionally non-functional layout is the seat of a young, dynamically living couple. Completely uncomfortable, dark kitchen and lack of storage space were the main issues to be solved. As for 34 sq m of space, the owners’ utility program was quite extensive, as it assumed, inter alia, organizing two places for remote work. Actually, all wishes were fulfilled … except for the “big table”, which physically lacked space, but managed to fit a large kitchen peninsula, which, apart from the consumption function, will fill the gaps in the kitchen’s working surface, which here has become the “heart of the house” and “center of the house” Command “in one, with direct access to daylight through a large window and balcony door.
