Renovation of a private apartment in an old tenement house

A beautiful apartment in a tenement house from the 1920s. The owner, living in constant rush, carried out various modernizations and changes to it for many years, so its technical condition was very good, but the interior was dominated by the impression of randomness and eternal “infinity”. The design task was to find a way to combine all elements into a coherent whole and to introduce functional and spatial changes in line with the current needs of the user. The bathroom was completely rebuilt, and communication between the rooms was changed by demolishing fragments of the walls between them. Thanks to this treatment, daylight from the large windows will reach the underlit center of the apartment.
